and right off the bat it’s attack, attack, attack against the liberal leadership a la Trump playbook. No addressing the precariousness of our economy in the face of American aggression…no Canadian solidarity when we are fully at threat of disillusion by a foreign agitator…and absolutely zero talk about how we’re going to mitigate the damage this trade war is causing. When he could be talking about opening trade routes with new partners, he’s still griping about Trudeau.

I did consider voting for him once and I’m glad I didn’t. That lack of foresight shouldn’t be rewarded.

I honestly don’t think Poilievre can beat Carney, even if he moderates. I don’t think any Conservative can. The only sliver of hope for them is if Carney fails so badly that the voters want a new party in charge. I doubt that will happen.
