The scariest thing Eli Roth ever produced were the box office returns on that Borderlands movie.

Eli’s movies are unwatchable. With all the bombs and crappy movies, how is he still directing?

Why is this guy allowed in the movie industry after his incredibly disturbing tweets? Seriously, fuck of Eli.

    4. I mean, I liked Touristas, but I don’t see how it could possibly save the film industry.

Eli Roth is a garbage director. He has never made a classic horror movie, despite being in the industry for over 20 years.

Here’s my pitch for a movie that would scare the shit outta everyone:

Imagine a diabolical leader who is essentially the PR for a secret society of people who run the world. It’s reported that these people hate each other for varying reasons, but they all essentially want the same thing and view the people as mindless sheep and statistics.

Now imagine they’ve come to realize that they’re running outta fresh water, food, and space due to modern science, making people live longer and obtain more wealth. So the people at the top devise a plan:

First, create and „accidentally“ release a virus all over the world to take out the poor, sick, and oldest people who the leaders feel need their wealth the least. This will, in turn, cause all stores and establishment to close down for a while, which will cause some of said businesses to close down, and the ones who survive will have to increase their prices. Thus making the new poorest people who didn’t die even poorer. Enough poor people who are hungry and desperate will cause more crime and more death, continuing to lessen the herd.

And while this is going on, the leaders buy out all the entertainment and news media so they can steer the public discourse in a way to make everyone have a completely „Black and white“ mentality of „us vs. Them“ along ALL aspects of life (race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation and sexual identification).

This will, in turn make people hate each other more, blame the wrong people for their problems and cause enough divide so that the masses will NEVER agree to disagree, and thus never work together to warrant change for the better across the entire species. As well as try to figure out the truth.

The movie ends with the 12 last richest people on earth living their lives bored because they no longer have a class under them to rule over. Humanity goes extinct, and several centuries later, there is no more evidence that this species even existed.

Actually, come to think of it, you’d have to make it an ongoing tv series to cover all the bases. Otherwise, if it was a 1 and done movie in only 2 hours, it would seem too nonsensical and far-fetched.

ITT lots of people who haven’t seen Cabin Fever. Yeah I am not a fan of many of Roth’s movies but Cabin Fever is really, really good. Maybe not top ten all time horror for me, but certainly in my top 25. Strong recommend.

Saved you a click: The brilliant idea is his studio is going to promise theater chains to not dump the movies they make onto streaming for a long time after they release them.

If you go with a plan that was devised by Eli Roth, you need to step back and take a look at your life, because you’ll know in that moment that you’ve fucked up.
