    1. Great job man. I’m doing the same at the moment. 2 months left to lose 6KG. Already lost 3KG

    2. How did you manage this?  That’s insanely steady for a very long period.

    3. VusterJones on

That week 19/20 bump is real. Lose the first 15-20 pounds „relatively“ easily and then you can jump back up or plateau

    4. Well done. You must feel great and proud. The key thing is… unless Week 20 was a vacation or something and you were off your game, you just picked right back up where you left off and kept at it.

I don’t even see a scale unit, and we call this beautiful?

Congratulations btw and keep at it.

Pounds or kilos? Ain’t that a super important thing to put on this graph? Kind of a big oversight

Nice job. I’m struggling over the last 4 months fron 312 to 277. Need to get near your range.

    8. As long as you’re doing it healthy and you feel good mentally, congratulations! This is a big deal 🙂

For some reason it doesn’t let me edit but the values are in pounds (LB)

Nice job! I’m doing the same with drastically different results – 218 to 204 to 208 to 211. Goal is to get to 195.

    11. Insane! I’m just sad that that graph reminds me of my account balance over time

    12. I’m doing the same thing, trying to go from 198 to 170. So far my weekly progress has been 198.0, 194.0, 190.6, 189.0, 190.0, 187.6. So fingers crossed.

Great job! … that looks almost identical to mine (So far at least). Started at about the same, and I just dipped below 200lbs a couple of weeks ago, but I’m plateauing now. Your trend from week 16 on gives me hope.

I had left over nachos for breakfast . Your weight-loss journey is going way better than mine

Nice same here started with 215 and right now at 210 not doing diet tho just eating balanced meals and going to the gym for weightlifting and cardio 3x times a week

The lines would make more sense if they were 1 unit each. Right now there are 6 lines for every 5 units.

Make a graph where the bottom line is your targetes weight once you did fight through the journey!

i can only achieve this by not eating 2-3 days a week. any suggestions for healthy calorie restriction?

    19. LowFatWaterBottle on

What is your target weight and did you notice any change in your eating habits because you know you were nearing it? Also, do you have a plan to maintain your weight when you hit your target weight as to not over/under eat?

    20. Personal progress charts are some of my favorite charts.

      Congratulations on your journey.

    21. Agreeable_Shame_1358 on

This looks exactly like me! Started out about 220.

      Cut out alcohol completely

      This led to healthier eating

      This led to less snacking

      This led to more walking

This led to beginning weight training

Im trying to get to about 180-185 by end of year

      Congratulations!!!

Great perseverance to battle through week 14->21 and keep going. I think a lot of people would have given up.

Hell yeah man (or lady), good job! I did this myself prior to my wedding in 2021, went from around 230 to 185 over the course of a year. I’ve settled at a comfortable weight of about 195 – just seems to be where my body prefers to hang out. It’s extremely hard for me to maintain 185 if I’m not aggressively cutting, and it’s just too miserable to tolerate. one thing my wife and I have both found is that our maintenance weight post-dieting is *much* lower than people tell you it should be (for my build it’s usually 2500 calories for most people), so don’t get discouraged if you start gaining weight when you get back to maintenance – just dial it back slowly til you find your sweet spot.

    24. Tonsilith_Salsa on

I achieved very similar numbers over a similar time period last year and have been able to maintain.

I started a job where I am on my feet most of the day and started fasting until dinner time 3-4 days a week. I also cut my alcohol intake by probably 95%.

I didn’t count calories, eat cleanly, or start any additional exercise aside from my job.

If you can find a sustainable way to permanently  consume fewer calories, you will see results.

The biggest mistake I see people make is setting unrealistic, unsustainable food and exercise goals and crashing off their plan within 30 days.

Find small changes you can make permanently and start building a collection of incremental changes that you can live happily with.

Like, if you’re drinking 1-2 sodas per day, switch to water/unsweetened iced tea/even DIET sodas.

People worry so much about aspartame in diet sodas causing cancer (in mice, at sustained, near-lethal doses), that they justify consuming 100g of liquid sugar per day as an alternative. I’m sorry but blasting your body with sucrose all day is going to make your feet fall off. You’re better off drinking the artificial sweetener if you absolutely can’t live without soda. Is it ideal? No. But that’s not the point…

*Yes, I know about the study that suggests people who drink diet sodas have overall poorer health outcomes than people who drink full-sugar drinks, and I don’t care. Not everyone who drinks artificial sweeteners has the serious intention of reducing overall calorie intake. *

The point is to make small changes that you can live with long term, and if that doesn’t include eating a balanced, nutritional diet of lean protein and leafy greens, that’s okay- As long as you’re trending in the right direction and making sensible changes to your behavioral patterns.

I did not intend to write all this when I started. I’m not sure what happened.

    25. kriegstaube on

Amazing, I started my diet around the same time and lost about the same amount of weight. Love it, keep it up

    26. tokyotochicago on

Man you gotta slow down, if you keep this up by 2029 you’ll have disappeared

    27. Very nice. I have lost 55 lbs from 307 to 252. January 15, 2025 to August 17, 2025.

    28. KG, llb, pounds, grams? Might need to specify a metric on that Y axis other than that its an amazing progress!
