Mail-in voting has been his biggest enemy since it cost him the 2020 election. He genuinely thought he had gotten away with something until he realized he couldn’t manipulate the data from mail-in votes.

Trump has no say over how states run elections. And SCOTUS has bolstered states rights again and again. So this is just bullying and intimidation on behalf of Putin.

So he definitely got his orders and advice from Putin in Alaska.

No mail-in voting, so fewer people can vote due to taking time off work, and hard to get to polling places. Voting machines gone, hand counting only, which will lead to more mistakes and a longer time for results to be known. Gives them more time to file complaints etc.

State deadlines for results will probably not be long enough, which could mean lots of votes not being counted at all. I am sure the Republicans will push a lot of money into their state’s election counting, but try and stop Blue states from doing the same.

So much for the states having control over their election processes.

Our current president is just issuing decrees now, and 90% of Republicans have absolutely no problem with this.

Here’s their game. There are three suppliers. One supplier had a ton of weird stuff in both the 2020 and 2024 elections all favoring Republicans.

They still lost in 2020, and since they cheated, they figured the Democrats also cheated using the Dominion system (they didn’t). Dominion was not compromised which is why they sued.

Now, you can bet Dominion will be phased out. Mark my words.

This is the most unconstitutional executive order that has he done so far. He wants to take away your vote because he won’t win the midterms and he knows it, so the only way is to rig the fucking game.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that he now sees no reason to not just openly state that there will not be fair elections again. I thought they’d pretend for a bit.

After moving from a state without mail-in ballots to one that uses them, my biggest takeaway is how much better the experience is. Instead of standing in line and feeling rushed, I can sit at my computer and really research the candidates and initiatives. That extra time matters, especially when initiatives are written in confusing or misleading ways. Having the chance to slow down and make informed decisions creates a more intelligent voting populace.

We are so fucked boys and girls. I fear even when this nightmare is over and comrade cheeto is rotting in the dirt the effects of this administration on this country will still be felt for generations to come. It’s a meme at this point to say it but truly am I tired of living in “interesting” times in history.
