It might be a good thing that Switzerland doesn’t have a deal yet. It seems like US wanted CH government to sell out the country’s future to get a low tariff rate.

They keep calling EU‘s investment pledge as „gift“ or „signing bonus“. It would be disaster if Switzerland have to pay 200B „gift“ and not investment via companies .

It also shows how desperate US is (drowning in debt) that they need to ask/extort others to pay them money to pay down debt. A big risk for investments.

Wow. Reading this I am imagining a mafioso working on his victim, rather then the president of the united states. I never imagined that I would witness such a rapid decline of this country. From the leader of the free world, the land of the free and home of the brave – to the rise of a more and more authoritarian government, bullying their allies into protection payments, selling out Ukraine to archenemy Russia, and leaving their own people poorer and poorer. A nation in economic, political und ethical decline, a superpower dying.

Let’s see if Switzerland can break programming and NOT roll over for a shady wealthy person who got rich through questionable means.
