      On May 4, 1970, the Ohio National Guard opened fire on a group of unarmed student protesters at Kent State University, killing 4 and wounding 9 other students.

      Historically speaking the NG is not the best choice for this type of duty. They are, though, easy scapegoats so they’ll keep getting used and abused.

Guess West Virginia, South Carolina and Ohio’s actual problems don’t matter as much to their own governments as stopping sandwiches from being thrown at brown shirts.

      Trump seems to care less about pissing off Blue states, but I also notice there are no National Guard in Florida or Georgia. They must have no crime there and no undocumented criminals. It’s just those evil liberals who love crime.
