Roblox hat seit dem 6. August ein Marktkapital in Höhe von rund 12 Milliarden US -Dollar verloren. An diesem Tag beschlossen sie, einen Inhaltsschöpfer zu verbieten, der dafür verantwortlich war, Kinderraubtiere auf seiner Plattform aufzudecken. Tage nach diesem Vorfall wurde Roblox auch vom Staatsanwalt Louisiana verklagt, der behauptet, dass die Plattform sich nicht für den Schutz von Kindern mit Sicherheitsmaßnahmen kümmert.
