      I can get my hand down the gap between my lawn and my house/paths, it’s quite disconcerting. Hopefully the foundations aren’t affected.

      Snow on the line delay.
      To much rain on the line delay.
      Sap on the line delay.
      Ice on the tracks delay.
      Frozen points on the track delay.
      Flooding on the tracks delay and now to dry tracks delay.

    3. is that the Dawlish sea wall they’ve used in the photo? The bit of railway that famously has issues with too much moisture? (Thats also not between London and Exeter)

    4. There’s not a day where they don’t have an excuse for shoddy service. It’s not like weather is a new phenomenon is it? Build the infrastructure for variables like any other decent planning department.

    5. For the country that basically pioneered railways and built an entire Industrial Revolution off the back of them, we sure are shite at building railways today.
