SS: Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a press conference in Alaska, stated that US-Russia trade increased by 20% since Donald Trump took office. Putin described this growth as „symbolic“ but highlighted potential for further collaboration in trade, digital technology, high tech, and space exploration. However, US penalised India for continuing to purchase Russian oil. India’s Ministry of External Affairs called targeting of India as unjustified and unreasonable, arguing that India’s oil imports are driven by market factors and energy security needs for its 1.4 billion people. The ministry pointed out that US previously encouraged such imports by India for strengthening global energy markets stability & itself continues to import from Russia uranium hexafluoride for its nuclear industry, palladium for its EV industry, fertilizers as well as chemicals.

India’s own tariffs are too high yet indians are still hating on Trump for doing what’s fair. I am an Indian myself and Trump Tariffs are more than fair, if anything they’re low.
