Transgender Men always get fucked in this stupid bullshit. Would be very interested to know what the response from Virgin Active would be on the scenario of a bearded bloke with a vagina changing next to women. Or is that different somehow?
That’s going to go well when a bearded, muscled, boobless female-to-male transgender man walks into the women’s changing rooms.
Seems like they’re implementing a policy which best suits the needs of the majority of their customer base, whilst (per their quote below) implementing facilities to suit the needs of others too to make sure nobody is left out. Surely no issue here?

this is pure manipulation of the supreme court’s ruling has to stop.
No laws have changed in any way so blocking someone from using the changing room based on feelings and not law is going to create legal problems.
When the law changes make changes untill then don’t brake the law
What *is* the answer for single-sex areas, though? Or do we just have to transition to a world where everyone has their own private changing/shower area and male/female splits are a thing of the past?

Just as well gym staff are all sane and reasonable people who never ever get odd on the tiny bit of power they have, otherwise you could easily manage scenarios where they start demanding to people junk.
A bit of a shower thought about toilets and changing rooms. If a company wants to say that you should use the one that matches your biological sex, should the signs specifically say „male“ or „female“ rather than a picture of a person wearing trousers or a skirt?
Women often wear trousers even if they’re not transgender, and men can wear a skirt. So it seems to me that if you look like the picture, then you can use that toilet or changing room.
I hate this timeline. Can we go back to when no one cared which bathroom trans people used??
