That’s one item out of many. Meat is literally the most stable product right now, idk where they got this cut but seems off. They’re looking in the wrong places. Main thing I’m happy about is chicken / other beef cuts being stable after shooting up 20 cents every quarter for 4 years.

Where they are getting us is freaking taxes!!! My freaking property taxes doubled! It’s $200 a month more tacked onto my mortgage! Along with that my freaking home insurance went up which added another $50 a month to my mortgage.

Don’t get me started on utilities! Gas and Electric are up 20% per unit year over year

ok I guess people dont know this 1 after inflation prices on everything hardly ever reset to what they were before. 2 prices on many things have come down to the point it doesnt hurt as much but still hurting. bag of chips about a year ago was 8.49 for a none family size. One way you can lower the prices on most goods is you make the server size less. its what they did in 2009 when the market fell hard and when we started to recover a bag of chips pudding cups ice cream containers were all downsized by like 20%. they then dropped the prices and no one really paid attention.

Steak is down pork is down chicken is down are they back down to where they were no. will they ever go back down no prices always tick up its the nature of the market. prices that need to come down that are being way over down are cars and trucks. I saw a new truck my body was looking at was 82.500 no way on earth the same model go back 3-4 years was 52k. Acura tlx type s was a 34k for a base mode is in the mid 50k. Part of that is due to the bs covid did yes but covid has been a thing of the past for 2 years or more give or take those prices should be down. They are down from what the highs were but no where near where they should be. Prices of most home improvement items are down nails wood wiring brick etc. But the prices to build a home the labor is still up. I can buy the same items I did 1-2 years ago at the store and im paying 20-30% less. Gas is between 2.69 and 3.00 its jumping around a bit. but remember when we were almost paying 5.00? for those not in cali that is crazy

It is probably a combination of inflation, tariffs, and big meat companies trying to maintain profits with decrease in sales to those new outlets like good ranchers and butcher box. Bill Gates is probably fucking with it somehow also because he is always trying his little schemes like buying up farmland and selling fake meat and now he is coming out with some kinda fake butter, the little sumbitch. I could buy chuck roast for under five bucks at Aldi pre covid. Now it is over seven bucks a pound. Over eight bucks for the chuck at walmart.

Yeah. It’s no conspiracy. You’re paying more for meat right now. Congratulations. This is what you voted for!

I dunno – I just got my car insurance bill and it’s up 35% in just 6 months!! WTF?! I just noticed it tonight as they just switched me to a new policy. Something’s fucky tho.
