      Welp, it could’ve been worse, putin probably came to avoid further sanctions and to get propaganda images for the state tv. Trump just wanted a show of force, which was obvious with B2 and F35’s flyover.

      The entire press conference consisted of both parties thanking each other for existing. I wonder what the major point they didn’t agree upon was? I was hopeful after the meeting on Wednesday however it seems the Kremlin has gained the upper hand today, maybe highlighting the America-Russia economic-benefits.

      Basically Trump could not even really come close to even getting something that would even be worth discussing with Ukraine but because he cant call anything a failure he has to say it was almost there.

      So, by conceding actual nothing and leaving the war as it is, Russian diplomatic corps completely disarmed the secondary sanctions threat and whatever else Trump promised.

      This is not ’nothing burger‘, this is a roaring success (for Russia). Lavrov is a virtuoso, he probably ate Trump’s rookies alone, with close to no speaking from Putin

      Trump’s very productive is exactly the same as the person I worked with that like say, „Don’t worry. It’ll be taken care of.“ And of course it will not be taken care of. 😛

      Despite them calling it productive, it seems like nothing of substance changed today. We’ll see what happens in the coming days, but this feels like it was a nothing burger.

      So, the meeting accomplished nothing other than a simple jerk session. What utterly pointless meaning for the Americans. Russia is toying with the US here. Trump’s grasp of diplomacy is shockingly low, even for him. America looks so pathetic right now.
