How brave of her, waiting until more polling came in to arrive at this conclusion

Because it is a genocide. Sad it has taken this long but glad more are finally saying it, just wish it had been sooner..

Only took around 100,000 people dead and 23 months. Fairly quick when it comes to Washington. /S

    4. Good job Katherine. A little (a lot) late but good job.

Now get to the next district over and tell that aipac ghoul Jake Auchincloss

Little by little, the Democratic Party is turning to the truth – genocide is being committed in Gaza.

If you’re an Israeli, you should be (and most are) cursing the name Netanyahu.

It is more important to see how much they spent on each particular candidate. Look at Schumer and Jeffries on Open Secrets. Then consider whether their number one donor by far has significant influence or not!!!!

My problem with all these folks who are now willing to call it what it is now that the tide is shifting is that either A) they’ve recognized it as a genocide all along but were fine to support it as long as it benefitted them to do so, or B) they actually never bothered to look into what Israel is doing and were just blindly following the pack.

All that said, I’m glad that acknowledgement of Israel’s genocide is becoming more widespread. Regardless of whether people like Clark are being genuine or just cynically chasing trends, it shows that public perception is changing and solidarity with Palestine is more of an acceptable political position.

How embarrassing that Marjorie Taylor Greene was quicker to denounce the genocide before the leadership of the Democratic Party.

It’s not a genocide. What a simplistic and unintellectual thing to say.

Many of you will get very angry at me for pointing this out because for you it isn’t up for debate, but cheapening the Rwandan Genocide (800k dead, 80% of Tutsis gone in 100 days) is unacceptable. It spits on the Armenian Genocide (1.5 million dead in one year), it spits on the Pontic Greek Genocide (500k dead over ten years), it spits on the Holocaust (6 million dead, we still haven’t recovered our numbers).

25k dead terrorists and 35k dead civilians used as human shields over two years or **intense** urban combat is not a genocide. It isn’t a genocide when 239 people died from malnutrition over two years.

Has the IDF committed war crimes? Sure, any group of 630k people is gonna have monsters and criminals. But genocide is a specific thing. The Gaza Conflict is not that thing.

She’s always courting controversy by describing things.

Stay tuned: I heard that she’s going on *Today Explained* on Vox next week and she’s going to announce that water makes things wet. The fur is going to fly when that comes out.

    11. And to think they made Jeffries caucus leader instead of AOC. Own goals don’t score themselves I guess.

    12. So she recently awakened from a coma?

How does she justify being asleep on the job for 22 months?

“Genocide” is the new “Racist” the word’s meaning is completely degraded

    14. People need to stop calling this a genocide. It’s not. Israel has one of the best militant to civilian ratios in modern history, nearly one-to-one. This is despite Hamas using their citizens as human shields.

It’s like these people have forgotten that words have actual definitions. There are real genocides going on now, Syria, Darfur, the Uyghurs.

What sets all of those apart is that the people are actually being targeted because of their culture. In Gaza, civilians aren’t generally being targeted *at all*. Yes, mistakes happen, especially with Hamas using their civilians as bargaining chips, but that’s not the same as genocide.

People shouldn’t be scared to use accurate words, to call brown shirts what they are as it is.

    16. Wow is it finally time the liberals start pretending to have always cared about the genocide instead of gloating about it to leftists who have *totally* lost them the election?
