I think mocking Trump is in general a good idea, as he is thin-skinned and prone to respond in a way that makes him look even worse, while his sycophants desperately flail around trying to keep up with and/or defend his contradictory positions.

The people who aren’t a fan of this are part of the reason we lost in 2024. Remember when Walz came out and started calling them „weird“ and jackasses, and the Dem ticket shot up in the polls? And do you remember how then there was a hard pivot to pull in the mythical „moderate republican“ and they put him onto smaller parts of the circuit, and the ticket started backsliding.
Democrats love to touch on effective messaging and then get scared that they might upset the theoretical centrist voter and workshop it into something milquetoast.
