    1. Have we had enough yet lads or should we let a few more young people die in agony.
Poor Simon, everybody is being so mean. He has a brother with a disability don’t you know.

Ah gosh that’s heartbreaking. Such a shame we spend money on such wasteful things while ignoring what matters most, health.

Apparently we’re not entitled to be aggrieved by this because nothing can ever improve in Ireland and we’re wrong for believing it should.

Christ, one of the world’s wealthiest countries with disproportionately high healthcare spending and we can’t even get this right. Fuck FF FG god bless that poor lad and anyone else suffering on waiting lists because of this government

    5. As disgusting as these cases (and countless more like it), the dysfunction of the HSE has been fully normalised.

Absolutely nothing will change here and its so sad

A reminder that FF and FG have overseen so much suffering of Irish children over the last century. And 9 times out of 10 those responsible never face consequences

    7. What a shambles, the system has let him BIG TIME. Poor guy, nothing worse than back pain

Genuinely, how is this actually happening? Is there a lack of specialist surgeons with the expertise to operate on children? A lack of equipment or facilities?

    9. So this poor young lad just has to wait to die?

But bless poor Simon sure its hardly his fault, they’ve only had over a decade to fix it, but as you know the scoliosis crisis can’t be fixed overnight.

    10. Fucking scandalous in any country, let alone one as wealthy as Ireland. As usual with the public sector, no one will be held accountable.

    11. I really didn’t need to see this today but that’s the reality we live in in this country. With the amount of money we spend on the HSE you’d like to think we’d be a leader when it comes to healthcare. I’ve had my own struggles with the HSE so I know it all too well. Cunts

    12. why build a 2.2B children’s hospital if they are just going to let children die aimlessly? It’s a disgrace and dystopian nightmare.

    13. The sad reality of a not-fit-for-purpose HSE and political elite who only give lip service and do nothing.

Would the tens of millions sent to Ukraine have helped matters? Just saying.

I know we’re all busy but there going to have to be a clean sweep revolution and the sooner the better and if blood is spilled so fucking be it

Lads, sorry I can’t remember but is this also got to do with the unnecessary surgeries on kids over the last few years? Were they back surgeries?
