Pretty funny how Israel can maintain the highest possible intensity of operation for their F-35 fleet but the UK is failing to maintain the bare minimum.
It all comes down to investment into stockpiling spare parts. That’s a massive ship with half its maximum capacity embarked. There’s plenty of space to store spare parts.
Apparently, the author of the article questions the superiority of the F 35 in the event of a conflict with China. This is primarily due to the difficulty of obtaining spare parts.
It does not even need its kill switch. Just waiting for parts is enough.
Another UK F35 was stuck in India for months recently for the same reasons.
