Listening to the meltdown that will be on fox and by republicans will bring me joy. They brought this on themselves, and in particular the felon currently in the WH.

Newsom creeps me out, and so do the people around him. But, alas, he is doing what is required to defend his oath and protect the USA from its domestic enemies.
It’s so funny how they whine about due process and independent committees when almost no states have that process. Next the GOP will talk about repealing the 17th amendment so their governors can just appoint senators. Bring it on!

Only difference now is, the people will actually have a say, and they will DECIDE to redistrict. Not their governor, especially not Donald Fucking Trump.
As a Texan, I didn’t get a say in the silencing of my voice and the nullification of my vote. Donald Trump just decided it. Then his sycophantic fascist followers did it for HIM. Not even for the republican party. They did it for Donald Trump, to ensure that he remains in power without the people’s permission.
Anger doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. Our country has had 10 years of this insanity. Now we are fast descending into authoritarian autocracy at the hands of a *fascist*. My ancestors went to war to defeat fascists. Now we have one single man, one very weak and egomaniacal man, creating his OWN brand new fascist regime, and we are being told that there’s nothing we can do about it. I beg to fucking differ.
I hope they make it so not a single republican vote counts. And then I want to see other blue states follow. there are blue states that can be redrawn so every GOP vote become invisible. That is what we need to do.
Other blue states need to get off their asses and announce this as well. That is the only way Texas is going to stop this bullshit.
