You know theyre asking about protein cloning right? This is pretty standard in biotech research field. Take a gene of a protein of interest in some organism, express it in another organism (like E. coli) to study it.
The’yre asking if you’ve already designed the plasmid and need somebody to express it, or you also need them to design the plasmid for you.
Im guessing you know all this, since you didnt show us the original email you sent though, to be intentionally misleading?

„Cloning“ in molecular biology refers to the process of building new plasmids, which can be used to introduce DNA into different host organisms (mainly bacteria and other microorganisms). It has absolutely nothing to do with cloning a human or animal (in the sense the word is commonly used).

None of these terms used in this email relate to reproductive cloning, as it’s apparently a much more intricate process to reproductively clone a human. They call it somatic cell nuclear transfer and it has so far been unsuccessful on humans.
What Jennifer is talking about is the replication of a specific gene, a luciferase gene which are involved with producing enzymes in bioluminescence.
OP is confused as to exactly what he’s asking for, or intentionally misrepresented the purpose of the email.
I have an extremely basic layman’s outline of molecular biology, but from what I checked during googling tells me this has nothing to do with human cloning.

„Cloning“ in biology doesn’t just refer to copying a personbor animal, but a genetic copying process in general.
In this case, a „plasmid“ is a circular form of DNA used by bacteria, since they don’t have a nucleus. Bacteria are really easy to engineer because you can shock them and make them take in a new plasmid, which they then use as their own DNA and gets copied (cloned) by them during reproduction.
This message suggests that they have vials of plasmids (concentrated circular DNA) that contain a gene for luciferase (the protein that codes for fireflies glowing), and that they will sell you these plasmids so you can insert them into bacteria and „clone“ them to produce more luciferase.
since this is a conspiracy sub, I think it’s important to note that neither these plasmids, nor the bacteria engineered with them, would be harmful to humans. Human bodies can’t do anything with plasmids, your cells won’t naturally take them in, and even if they were forced to, your cells wouldn’t be able to read the code in the DNA properly. Bacterial DNA and human DNA are very different in how their information gets turned into proteins.
