      Clearest indication yet the war is or has become a geopolitical project and too many spoons are in the pot now. I say the problem is old men (who hold the spoons) fantasising that they’re building a better future (implying one for the state they were elected / chosen to run) by throwing the present (along with Ukraine) under the proverbial bus. Realpolitik has won.

      So the US is making it abundantly clear that they are using India as a whipping boy to appeal to Putin’s conscience because they are powerless against Russia itself, or its main supporter, China.

      That will really set the mood for future negotiations with India.

      I’m being sarcastic, but it’s quite clear that the Trump administration and the people behind it do not care about India at all or worse, see it as an enemy to be destroyed.

      He is also reported as going to offer Russia mineral rights in Alaska. He is selling off portions of America to an enemy state to stop a war in another country. This is the dumbest man on Earth. If you want to stop this war, send the supplies that Ukraine needs. They have shown time after time that they are outperforming Russia on the battlefield. Rheinmetall is just now opening a factory in Ukraine that can make 300,000 artillery shells a year. This could definitely have an impact on the war, but it is only one piece.
