Why wouldn’t you want travel insurance anyway am I missing something🤣

I always thought the whole health insurance thing was odd. Because GHIC will work all over Europe according to a new deal. And it seemed odd to single out Brits like that.

Also love that Farage got what he wanted but still complains….

For a weird guy like Farage this was a really weird thing for him to say

Needs to maybe ease up off the pills

I wish outlets would fact-check and debunk all of Farage’s other lies too

And it doesn’t matter, because the lie was already repeated loudly enough that it has reached the ears he wanted it to reach, whilst the truth will barely be reported at all.

You really want travel insurance it helps with all sorts not just your health care.
It will cover someone to stay out in the country with you if you are kept in past your travel window, pay for flights and travel nurses.
It might seem trivial but that adds up.

      > The source for the invented requirement remains a mystery. None of the EU directives concerning third-country nationals or the entry-exit system contains any stipulation about insurance.

We know where it comes from: the arse of a career-grifter masquerading as a politician and man of the people that knows his followers lap up anything he says, regardless of whether it is true or can easily be disproved by a quick google search.

Why isn’t it the law to get travel insurance when…… travelling? Everyone coming into the UK should prove they have travel insurance and won’t be a burden if they have an accident, likewise for brits travelling abroad.
