    ‚Alien: Earth‘ ist eine der besten Shows in diesem Jahr

      I mean it’s good, but it’s only episode 2.

      But as someone that loves blade runner, this was very exciting. Hope it does well.

      Very much agree, so far. Love the callbacks and overall vibe. Writing and cast seem excellent. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

      I got bored and didn’t finish the first episode, maybe I just wasn’t in the mood. I’ll have to give it another try.

      Ok, so I now understand the timeline. The only Alien medium I have ever watched was Alien and Aliens, and I have zero clue of any other plot or character in other films/adaptions.

      Can I still enjoy the ‘Earth’ series?

      In the same year that gave us Andor and Department Q, there is no way Alien:Earth is even close to that high quality. I was very disappointed in the cartoon-like action of Alien:Earth.

      Some issues that I have:
      >!1. Why sending essentially kids who lack proper training to a crash site?
      2. Some of the dialogue like “He’s been dead for a week maybe more. See the color of the blood. Coagulation.” That makes no sense since that could only tell if the person very recently.
      3. Why did Hermet drop his gun when the alien attack?
      4. Search and rescue teams with guns instead of equipment that they need for search and rescue? More firefighters and paramedics and less soldiers.
      5. Alien killing entire groups of people, some of them armed, extremely quickly but only when the person isn’t an important character.
      6. Bit strange that Hermit, who was brought as a medic, survives the alien attack and just witnessed it massacre a room full of people yet still thinks it is an appropriate time to be nostalgic about a signed baseball instead of doing his job or at least trying to get off the ship.
      7. Nitpick: century from now I would not expect Ice Age 4 to be the movie the younger generation to be quoting.!<
