As to be expected. I’m not surprised seeing everyone over at the Ontario sub freaking out as usual.
I’m sure Carney will be announcing something similar soon as well.

I feel like these bailout type expenditures should be evaluated as investments. What is the public ROI for this? Is it enough ROI to keep the workers off EI? Or should this money be for these companies to use to invest in diversification and adaptation to new market conditions? To make them more viable and competitive. I think it needs to be for more than just retaining their payrolls and status quo operations.
