that is a very easy thing for someone to say when they’ve already won two and been nominated for *eight* more. that being said, we love denzel and some of the advice i’ve heard him give is so good.
„I dont care about getting laid“ says everyone after years of getting laid. But if youve never been laid, its a pretty big fucking deal for most people.
I roll my eyes when actors who have won Oscars act like they’re above it all.

He’s winding down in tears – age and career wise. This is just the sort of thing that a man in his later years would say and frankly it’s the right thing to say because at least that means when he exits, he does so without regrets, at least career wise.

The most interesting part of that interview was he has starred in two remakes of Kurosawa films (and the interviewer had to point that out, Denzel wasn’t aware) and has never seen a film by the Japanese director.
