      Was this before or after his vice president told the world and Russia we would not continue funding Ukraine?

      I don’t doubt that trump said this. However, Macron is only publicly saying this in the hope that it will force trump to hold to it. Not that it would, given trump’s lack of shame or interest in maintaining any kind of consistent positions.

      Unless this deal includes EU/NATO peacekeepers on the ground, it’s meaningless.

      I will say though that we’re probably at the point where if a fair and just world existed, a heavily monitored vote by outsiders in the Donbas would make sense, as many who don’t want to be under Russian control have likely already left.

      Let the people decide if they want to rejoin Russia or not!

      First of all, I don’t think he said that… the meeting obviously didn’t go well.

      What they are doing is playing his own game by grabbing the headlines first to make the new reality. It’s not a bad plan really.

      Any territorial concessions from Ukraine especially in regards to land the failed state of Russia does not even presently occupy must be tied with the return of Texas to Mexico, the Thirteen Colonies to the UK and Alaska to Russia

      Because if we’re entertaining stupidly then lets go all in eh?
