      It is rather odd to see many of the people hired to solve this crisis insisting that it is not happening.

    2. As a lay person with a general scientific background, I think heat, more extreme weather are all adaptable with existing technology, some planning, and (unfortunately) much political suffering as those born in unlucky latitudes move to luckier ones.

      Acidification of the ocean seems to me a much more significant problem. If a climate scientist would like to reassure me, I’m all ears.
