i believe climate change is real but i believe it’s being “corporatized” and many of the solutions sold to us are fraudulent. everything gets manipulated for profit. just another excuse to control people instead of actually fixing things.

If climate change or global warming was real. And actually killing millions a year. Governments would actually do something because they are losing tax dollars. Especially the US, they know people will fall for the shit and make organizations to donate to but all it does is fill rich people pockets up more. Why you think china dont do shit for the environment or India? They have the 2 largest population, and they would see it more from climate change deaths to actually do something about it.

Apparently this was something that circulated around Facebook a couple years ago to the point that the meteorologist even responded:

*“My computer just crashed one week,“ said Quinlan, who is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. „Then I had to use my colleague’s computer to complete my weathercasts. And back then they happened to have a different temperature color contour on their national temperature map.“*
So this appears to just be a genuine technical error.
Now am I saying that there aren’t people trying to capitalize on climate change by somehow monetizing it for $$$$? Of course not.
There’s even a word for that, it’s called Greenwashing. I just don’t think this right here is an example of nefarious climate change related propaganda.

This is like the third or fourth post I’ve seen criticizing the colors on TV News weather reports and it’s the dumbest conspiracy I’ve ever heard. Who knows why the colors are weird. Maybe the graphics guy at the TV station messed with the calibration slider and didn’t care enough to compare the 2 different graphics he made up. To me that seems a whole lot more likely than „they’re turning the maps on the TV newscasts red (sometimes) to make people panic about global warning“.
