I’m angry that some people have turned civil liberties into a zero sum game, so that if they cannot exercise their personal freedoms heedless of how it may impact other peoples liberties and stripped of all consequences, then somehow we’re in a police state. Mind you, these are the same people that demand governments invoke s33 to incarcerate all the people with substance abuse and mental health issues that make them feel bad when they’re driving to work, which indicates these people don’t really even have a coherent ideology at all, and are more akin to cranky two year olds.
