I was there three weeks ago. The excitement after the border checkpoint quickly faded as we realized the place was quite dull and empty. The Soviet monuments are cool to see, but I would say that most of the sensational vlogs from there are exaggerating quite a lot. Chisinau is by far the more exciting place.
