The be fair: There is quite a lot of shit of the same sort on the streamers…
Saw this yesterday.
Went in with moderate-to-positive expectations.
But bloody loved it. Definitely a step up from Barbarian and sort of reminded me of a much better „Drag Me To Hell“ in terms of the horror/comedy ratio.
See it ASAP if you haven’t. Definitely the best movie Ive seen this year (although the bar for that is in the ground).
Definitely a movie that is ruined if you do ANY research ahead of time. Don’t even look at pictures.
If I’d seen some characters and overviews going in it would not have been nearly as good.

It’s such a good film. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go into it not looking anything up on it, or it could ruin the last act for you if you look up the plot. My wife and I went in with no knowledge on it, and we were on the edge of our seats the entire time. The ending has such a good payoff. It’s a mystery horror thriller film, and that’s all you will get from me.
The movie was so good. I my friend and I were the only ones laughing at certain parts of the movie.
I saw Weapons last weekend and still think about it. And I was actually not a fan of Barbarians second half. But with this film he hit it out of the park. Casting was perfection, and I loved the mix of pure horror and light hearted comedy in it. Highly recommend any horror fan to check this out in theaters.
