      I think its a Decoration of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria – really cool. I don‘t know what for though, could be an older medal of the Decoration of Honour presented for services to the sciences and fine arts 1. class.

      Reverse image search says this: The image displays an Austrian Military Merit Cross, likely a 3rd Class with War Decoration, from the Austro-Hungarian Empire era, specifically from the period of World War I.

      Are you sure it’s genuine? The eagle looks a lot like the 1945 version, but it should be carrying hammer and sickle in its fangs (since 1919) and broken chains (after 1945). This one has neither, which makes me wonder.

      Its not right for something real maybe a mock up for a movie set theatershow? As it can he altered and does not have to look right up close
