This seems like a bit of an overly simplistic weighted average sort of figure. Which is fine, can still be useful, but it totally ignores how consequential the tariffed goods are to our economy which is an important part of the calculus.
It also seems wild that nobody seems to be able to agree on how many goods are exempt under CUSMA. The estimates seem all over the place. How is that possible?
