‘Look, folks, I talked to Vladimir very strongly, the strongest talk, maybe in history. I said, ‘Vlad, you can’t just take land, people don’t like that, the EU doesn’t like that, NATO really doesn’t like that, terrible people, by the way, NATO, very ungrateful.’ And he looked at me, very tough guy, very smart probably the smartest leader not named Trump right now, frankly. And you know what? He makes a very compelling case, a tremendous case. Quite frankly, if I were running things, there’d be no war because maybe we’d just let him have it. Saves everyone a lot of trouble, believe me. The EU talks a lot, but they’re weak. Putin? He’s a winner. America likes winners. So, maybe you give him a little land. It’s called making a deal, folks. Art of the Deal. Everybody’s happy. Except maybe Ukraine, but they’ll get over it. They’ll thank me later.’

If all the Europeans can do is ‘BLEAT’ then illegal annexation of Ukraine lands is inevitable. No one invites war but just ‘bleating’ demonstrates weakness which actually does invite war. The no fly zone over Ukraine should have gone into effect within weeks of the invasion- it isn’t too late to put one in place now.

    3. They will not be taken by force. Ukraine will sign some kind of agreement. And then Russia will make referendum on those territories. Works since 1939

    4. Is the European Union just giving lip service for Ukraine? They appear to be a bunch of old farts that can’t make a decision. lol

Must not be, but they will be.

I mean seriously, how stupid is this talk? Does everyone forget the wars that Europe has been in before? Did the people of said countries get a say in how the borders will be? No. Why would it now be different?

This is war, and war is not fair. I’m tired of this nonsense talk from EU.

    6. Headline’s too long. How about

      # Ukraine’s borders must not be changed.

      Fuck ruZZia

Im sorry but they already have been changed by force, just not dejure. If a deal that saw Russia stopping its offensive, real security guarenties for Ukraine, such as joining nato and the EU, and Russian withdrawal from atleast Kharkiv, Ukraine should take it, even if it means legally giving up Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk. It is clear that Russia will continue slowly advancing without the US and EU sending more support than it has. It is rich of the EU to say they won’t allow Ukrain’s boarders to be changed, when they haven’t commited enough since the start of the war to stop that from happening.

EU has the power to stop it, they choose not to and to let Ukraine continue to be slowly bled to death, they are barely any better than trump

If the border is not defended with force, it will be taken with force.

Words are not enough. EU leaders are handing Ukraine over to Russia with the weak words. Russia thrives on the weakness.

EU leaders cast a small shadow on the negotiation table. Do they have anything to say for the last 6 months? They sat and watched as what everyone told them would happen happened and they did nothing to change the course

It’s wshful thinking, but as long as Putin doesn’t have Russia equal to the Russian Empire, he will move forward
