I think a lot of it is due to the Houthis attacking the shipping lanes – which affects world trade. Someone had to do something

      [Sauce](https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-airstrikes-bombs-iran-how-many-b2789626.html) for the image.

Also, just looking at the number of bombs he’s dropped is also misleading, you have to look at the size of them and where the attacks were launched. Case in point, the bunker buster bombs he dropped on Iran’s nuclear sites, are a massive escalation in global tensions. They are the largest conventional (non-nuclear) weapons we have in our arsenal, and we wasted them on what was ultimately an unsuccessful attack.

Why are we bombing new countries (Iran) with our most lethal conventional weapons?

What happened to the „No new wars“ guy?

Did he just mean „no new wars“ that actually serve America’s interests? Cuz he certainly didn’t mean no new wars to serve Israel’s interests, or we wouldn’t be bombing Iran on their behalf.

What is the source of this data? I know we bomb brown people almost on a daily basis but it sure as heck isn’t reported in the news.

You don’t have the Mexico air strikes on the cartel in your graph. Cartels has been labeled a terrorist organizations.

      >What happened to no new wars?

This is not a new war, and has been going on since Obama placated the Saudis by funding their war against the Yemenis
