      The worlds dumbest head of state negotiating with one of the most ruthless, calculating, cunning dictator of all times, what could possibly go wrong?

      Putin will end up with half of Ukraine, Alaska, and guarantees that the US will look the other way if Russia invades other European countries.

      He can’t. But he CAN say that USA will be friends with Russia, lift all sanctions and once again prohibit Ukraine from buying US defence material
      IF
      Ukraine won’t allow Russians to plunder and take their homes, land and lives.

      So USA can allow it to happen if Ukraine can’t put up resistance enough without weapons bought from US and functioning sanctions (without US sanctions, EU sanctions don’t matter much).
