    1. >“What a delicious journey…and to meet at their glorious home – was a kindred becoming,” Anderson wrote in a statement. “The care that goes into these grounds and into sincere collaborations is authentic. Brandon, Dylan and I are so proud to share our mutual love of condiments (especially pickles) with you. And to give the proceeds to California Wildlife Center, with so much need, is a prophetic call back to many Malibu lemonade stands and hours of volunteering.”

I thought it sounded adorable until my eyes got to this part:

      > The actor and activist has teamed up with Los Angeles lifestyle brand Flamingo Estate on a limited-edition release, “Pamela’s Pickles,” a $38 jar of spicy, floral, garden-fresh cucumbers.

All of their items under the brand are overpriced elitist consumerism and this is clearly charity for profit. It’s priced to make up for their donations and still expensive enough to keep out the rift raff. If you’re feeling charitable I instead suggest looking into a wildlife reserve you like and donating a few dollars directly.
