      They’re clearly aiming to take full control of Gaza – it’s been obvious from day one that Israel won’t stop until the last hostage is freed.

      Everyone is going to come with their own decided opinion, but just to make sure at least the lede is included:

Speaking on Fox News, Netanyahu said, „We intend to, in order to assure our security, remove Hamas there, enable the population to be free of Gaza and to pass it to civilian governance that is not Hamas and not anyone advocating the destruction of Israel.“

      Who is going to govern Gaza after Hamas is dissipated? Netanyahu has publically ruled out Fatah as an option so I am curious. Egypt and Jordan have discarded the option to re-annex Gaza and the West Bank in the past.
