      I’m sick and tired of people calling things a “distraction.” Taking militaristic action against homeless people is not a “distraction,” it’s a human rights violation and a crisis of personal liberty.

      It’s called “flood the zone” — there are so many things happening at once, one after the other, that it’s impossible to keep up. All of the things happening are important.

      If America were a party to the ICC then Putin would be arrested for war crimes when he arrived in Alaska. Because America has refused to join the ICC that war criminal can travel to America with impunity.

      The mayor of DC is a black woman.

      This isn’t a distraction, it’s more groundwork for overturning/controlling the midterms. LA was a test run to see how large blue cities will react and what they will need to do differently.

      In Los Angeles, Donald Trump managed to turn a peaceful part of downtown into a chaotic, graffiti-covered disaster. Then he left and other people had to deal with it. I assume DC is next.

      One man baby gets punched by a child and the entire city has to be locked down by the national guard?

      Rewatching Mr robot right now and it’s so prescient. They never comment on armed military patrolling the subway and barking about curfews. They’re just… there. I can’t believe the don’t tread on me crowd signed up for this future.
