      What a complete non story with no evidence for his claim either.

      Bullshit, I have barely seen a man spending less in relationship. Men spend more on things make their partner happier.

      Yep – did this nearly 20 years ago (2008 financial crisis). Cost of living is a factor in early marriage and subsequent divorce but it always has been

      You can spread the living costs down by having 4 wives, or 4 husbands…..

      One of the reasons I stayed with an abusive wife for as long as I did was the fear of costs to live plus the inevitable battle I would have to pay for as a dad to ensure I didn’t lose access to my daughter.

      I promise you this is not new. That was 9 years ago for me when my rent was £295 a month for a decent sized 2 bed.
