Submission statement: Thomas Mahony, a former diplomat and World Bank consultant, was arrested and charged with sexually abusing three children in Washington, D.C. The abuse allegedly occurred at Mahony’s home while the children were playing with his own children. The case shocked the local community, particularly the D.C. youth swimming community where Mahony was known as a volunteer photographer.

This is a conspiracy with its basis in reality. The rich and powerful, and those who know them, can literally get away with murder (or child sexual abuse) because they have the right connections and the money to make it go away.
If we allow exceptions to diplomatic immunity as a people we are consenting to the system that treats us as such. Pretty much to them life is a video game and we are neutral player caricatures.
