I wish that were true, but I have a feeling we’re going to reward the aggressor.
Two options and both are shit:
– Keep fighting w/o US and lost all population
– Surrender and give up lands, wait for next attack in year or two.
– Bonus option: destroy the country from inside by arguing about previous two options…
Replace by „should not“.

I assume Trump is looking to go back to the “Zelensky, you don’t have any cards” statement and start the cycle all over again.
Sounds nice, but frankly, since early 2022 I haven’t seen any sign in the news that Ukraine’s opinion was taken into account. „Take whatever you’re given, no matter that it’s not enough“.
