Before anyone comes in just by reading the title instead of the article. They are arresting people who belong to and are in support of the same organization that inflitrated the military airbase and defaced the military equipment, called Palestine Action, which has been labeled as a terrorist organization. They are not arresting people for protesting pro palestine.
Where are the Faragists and free-speech absolutists? Two-tier policing was it?
Would you get arrested if you put a placard saying:
‚I support PA: Palestinian Authority‘
I see the right people are pissed at it, so ironic that those who say „There is no two tier policing“ finally get something that remotely resembles it and they are all up in arms
Don’t let the provocateurs confuse you with supporters versus members.
The people being arrested are not members of Palestine Action, they are being arrested for speech.
Israel are desperate to shut down protest at this point and will use any lever they can.
Next time you want to protest in a large group, agree with everyone to repeatedly steal each others phones non stop, that way police will confuse the protest as a actual crime and do everything in it’s power not to bother.
Sure support Palestine. But this organisation sabotaged UK military equipment, taking a refueling aircraft out of actions. You cant fucking do that.
