I always thought it was funny that he gave the same excuse the mafia use to explain unaccounted money. “I had a good day at the races” 😂
Bertie was a crook and should have been jailed. That said I think his administration was better for the country by building infrastructure and delivering housing. FG and friends have been in power for over 12 years an haven’t been able to deliver a sustainable number of units in over the period. Haven’t intervened in the supply side of housing but are quite happy to intervene on the demand side to increase prices which seems odd considering they help service providers directly in other markets when it suits them.
