This is entirely the fault of Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
The tariff economy is what led the US into the Great Depression.
Someone’s getting fired for releasing those numbers.
inb4 Congress and red states try to figure out a way to make getting unemployment benefits harder to get, or just decrease the amounts so they’re not even worth applying for. They’ll probably due „work requirements“ for unemployment „sorry, you can’t get those benefits unless you work x hours a month“.
Before this report came out, it was maddening hearing everyone say that there were plenty of jobs, just had to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and find them! All while filing application after application and finding out they were only ghost jobs.
Economy was booming under Biden but righters and the media acted like it was awful and in a depression.
Economy is in a recession trending towards a depression under Trump and the righters and media are silent.
Record food prices, record housing prices, lots of areas reporting a massive drop in earnings due to this admin (Vegas, for example).
All caused 100% directly by Trump.
Where do those numbers come from and how quickly will Trump fire whoever is responsible ?… Clearly we’re swimming in jobs and there’s 0 unemployment. Biggliest Employment ever. Some might say „Big Beautiful Employment“. You’ve never seen Employment numbers like this. (holds up sharpie chart).
Unemployment up, prices up, government spending up, the debt is up. What’s going down? Constitutional rights, healthcare access, environmental protections to name a few.
It’s okay tho because Trump This Is Sparta’d that one guy.

Unfortunately since Trump is the end result of republican evolution which consists of „survival of the worst“ this crash may be really bad.

It’s a good thing we have a bunch of unemployed PhD scientists who used to work for America available to work minimum wage factory jobs. Oh wait, we don’t have any of those either? Wow, what an unexpected turn of events.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but won’t numbers for September/October show a nice 150k+ boost of unemployed federal employees, as the DRP ends and those people are officially unemployed? These are the „good“ times, still.
