Very good news to hear during pride week 🙂 I feel there has been tension from bigoted groups growing in the past few years that has made me and others feel uneasy, but I remember watching Kristrún Frostadóttir address Alþingi with the explicit message that this government will never pursue law changes that discriminate against queer people. And even though I had no belief that they ever would cut down our rights in any way, just hearing it affirmed had this massive wave of relief just washing over me. Thinking back on it I get very emotional. It’s the little things in a big hateful world that comfort you.
