Feels like the Guardian is desperate for a riot, the amount they report on it.
Given it’s the first weekend of the new football season I imagine most disorder will be footy related rather than political

I’m available Saturday between 13:00 and 20:00, and Sunday from 12:00.
I suspect it will be a damp squib. Anti-immigrant sentiment is high across the political divide and some with more extreme views are looking for a fight. It is also a Saturday in the school holidays, the weather is looking decent, and football is back on for all leagues bar the Premier League. It is those small things that will stop a lot of people rioting and keep them at home for a BBQ/down the pub. It is like how A&E is always much quieter on a nice summer’s day.
I wonder if they’ll start looting Greggs and Shoezone again. You know, to protect women and girls.
