      Trump’s net approval rating among Black voters has dropped by 25 points since May, according to The Economist/YouGov polls.

      The most recent poll, conducted between August 1 and 4 among 1,702 U.S. adults, found just 11 percent of Black respondents approve of Trump’s job performance, while 84 percent disapprove, giving him a net approval rating of -73.

      In the survey conducted in early May, 22 percent of Black voters said they approved of the job Trump was doing, while 69 percent disapproved, giving him a net approval rating of -47. Trump’s net approval ratings among Black voters in polls conducted in June and July were -54 and -64 respectively.

      Good news for the GOP is that the Voting Rights Act will finally be given its Last Rites soon by the Roberts Court so they’ll never need their votes again.

      And what’s good news for the GOP is bad news for democracy.

      I’ve always thought these were all oxymorons: Black Republican, gay Republican, female Republicans, brown Republican, Asian Republican, non-evangelical Republican, etc

      Maybe Dems should focus on their messaging and bench — because the fact Trump was a preferred candidate to a growing number of working class Americans in any race is WILD.

      „Collapse“ feels like a word that should apply to going from positive to negative approval.

      Going from -47 to -73 isn’t so much a „collapse“ as „the rubble settling further“.

      While I’m not surprised, black people voting for Trump seems crazy to me. He’s a committed racist and always has been.

      The Assistant to the DEI Officer at my job was a Black woman who voted for Trump, and now doesn’t have a job because of it. I can’t even fathom the choice.
