      Normally, crime statistics include perpetuating race for context.

      So what narrative are they trying to sell you?

      It’s dangerous to be a person of color?

      FBI always takes crime stats by race. It’s obvious why it’s never reported on. And yes it’s racist to notice 👀

      You never see this because it doesn’t fit the narrative put forward by the media. Takeaway? Never trust the media.

      Also interesting would be to see the stats of how many of those people were actual ‘legal gun owners’. 

      And also, how many of those stats include people defending themselves, like, for example, shooting and killing a home intruder (since that is also classified as a ‘homicide’).

      This is deaths BY firearms, not people who commit firearm homicides.

      Unsurprisingly, this comment section is full of people who can’t read the table title and its description.

      Even suggesting per capita violence numbers will get you kicked out of other subs. Then tie that to IQ and you’re outta there.

      Per capita numbers have to be hidden for the propaganda machine to keep running.

      It’s an illusion it’s actually poor people doing those things it’s just that the goverment literally conspired against the black community and put them in ghettoes. It could have been any race that got that treatment but they got it

      This says firearm deaths by race. So obviously cnn has skewed reality just enough that you can look at these tables and say, “look at the poor gun victims” which is valid of course but this lets the reader pretend who the perpetrators are to suit their own narrative.
      Yes the fbi does take stats on the actual perpetrators of crime like murders, shootings and rape. You’ll never ever see them reported by cnn or anywhere else I bet.

      Idk how this is the first time your seeing these stats black on black crime has always been issue. I’ve heard this in left circles, but then again I live in the south and it’s pretty well known that the homicide rate is high due to gang violence. That’s why cities like Jackson and Memphis are dangerous but the chances as a white person to be in murdered is still pretty low because the main people being killed are18-24 yo black kids from rival gang disputes

      The main argument: crime statistics are systemically racist. Asians have the lowest crime rates, meaning if that was true we are actually systemically racist against non Asians.

      Looking at these stats is the first time I’ve ever felt that white privilege that I’ve heard so much about over the last decade.
