      We didn’t grovel and donate to Trump’s crypto, hence, no deal.

        Quit trying to bargain fairly. Delay, expand our trading partners and ship everything he tariffs elsewhere.

      Yeah, I saw this segment on yesterday’s P&P. The dude spent the entire interview trying to blame Canada for being so mean to poor ol‘ innocent America, and that we are the real bullies who are trying to stop the USA from their completely reasonable tarrifs. Also that it’s apparently our fault that poor American families are having their jobs being threatened by Canadians refusing to buy their products.

      Just a complete disregard for the facts. A complete disregard that the USA started this, and a complete ignorance into why Canadians are upset at America.

      Whatever. What has become crystal clear, is that this situation has polarized Canada into two camps – 99% of us are supportive of our sovereignty, and will do so at any price, while 1% of us (i.e. the Danielle Smiths of the country) have no such self identity as „Canadian“.

      The US feels like a rich homeowner who wants to and feels like he is entitled to get his way on everything and doesn’t feel like anyone is allowed to fight back.

      Good. If America in its current form is happy with us then we’re doing a bunch of stuff wrong. DC should be frustrated by everyone at every turn.

      Apparently our elbows are still up despite messaging in conservative fundraising emails sent today claiming Carney is surrendering.

      Sounds like the negotiating team is doing it’s job.

      This guy’s sounds like the perfect punch able mouthpiece for the Trump admin.

      Any yet … Carney is considering removing tariffs. I do remember how that went before.
