I just go 30 minutes later than the advertised showtime anytime I go to an AMC theater.
I noticed that when we moved to a regal market that the showtime start time is when they start the ads. My wife always wanted to be there well in advance. Now I figure as long as we walk in by the start time. Then we go 10 minutes past listed show time to even get the wide screen trailers (different projector). There are a few ads in that reel now too. Very lame ones too. For lame companies like Applebees.
Emagine does 15 minutes.
The best preshow time/content I’ve ever seen came from the Alamo Drafthouse, though – good stuff.
