Nothing wrong with this, also 100k isn’t that much on a country scale.

Indians? There are already enough Indians in this country. Why do we need more?

    3. The Airbnb landlords are gonna have a heart attack when more Indian tourists need housing 😂

Kindly don’t spread unnecessary hatred and r@cism guys, please!!! 🙏🏼
For your peace of mind, I don’t think Indians will be interested to have a wedding in Georgia. Coz Indian weddings are in general an expensive affair. Poor and middle class Indians barely afford to have a wedding in another Indian state, let alone in a foreign country. And those who have a lot of money, choose other options like Switzerland, Dubai, Turkey, Malta, Bahamas etc.
Georgia is great for tourism for its culture and beauty but to project itself as a wedding destination for Indians solely on the basis of its Caucasian landscape, it has to compete with 13 Himalayan states of India.

Currently in Tbilisi as a white, western tourist and first observation is how racist it is here if you’re not white. No problem for me. But I would advise Indians to spend their money elsewhere. They don’t want you here due to their own ignorance. Trust me, you can do so much better! They are poor and racist here.

Also, this place is scam Central. Totally dishonest. I just got charged $16 euros for one cup of coffee in the old town. They were smiling and laughing as they made me pay, knowing that they had me pinned down. Disgusting experience! Felt like I was being held hostage for an espresso.

In contrast, I’ve travelled to India 6 times and have always been met with honest, beautiful people who treat me like a valued guest. They are excited to speak with me and give me nothing but respect. If attempts are made to scam me (like the pathetic coffee example today here in Tbilisi), the Indian locals will speak up and support me, openly shaming the scammer and shutting them down. They love that I am there and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Truly like family. The complete opposite of Georgia.

    6. You can have whatever opinion you want on immigration policy but this isn’t a $100k gift to be clear, if they’re spending that it’s because they expect it to returnn significantly more than $100k.

Good idea considering how nuts Indian families can go on destination weddings. Spending 100k to 200k on the event alone before factoring in travel, meals, etc. Georgia needs more high end tourism.
